Ingredients:
200g (7 oz) pasta of your choice (penne, bow tie, fusilli)
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1½ tbsp lavender simple syrup (or honey/maple syrup as substitute)
1/4 tsp grenadine (optional – for a touch of sweetness and color)
3 dashes bitters (optional – for depth of flavor)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh herbs (basil or parsley), chopped
Grated Parmesan cheese (for garnish)
Start by boiling your preferred pasta until al dente, then drain and set it aside. In a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice, 1 1/2 tablespoons of lavender simple syrup, 1/4 teaspoon of grenadine, and 3 dashes of bitters. Gently warm the mixture over low heat, stirring occasionally until everything is well blended. Toss the cooked pasta with this warm lemon-lavender sauce until evenly coated. Serve immediately, optionally garnished with fresh herbs or grated cheese for an extra burst of flavor.
